The International Jury has 5 members and will decide about the awarded programmes in each section.


The Grand Awards „The Golden Beggar“ will be given to an any of the categories which shows a strong journalistic content , an element of originality and clear understanding of the needs of its viewers.

The Jury is authorized to award also other prizes and honorary mentions that are financially not remunerated.  The Jury has also the right to decide not to give the Grand Award in some section.

1. Marcel Dekanovský (*1948) Slovakia 

Graduated in direction from the Prague film academy FAMU , director of feature-length films, plays adapted for television, several children’s story series, documentaries, feature films. Recognized with numerous domestic and foreign awards.


2. Otto Olejár (*1942) Slovakia

Film and TV Director. Graduated from National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, UK. In 1981 he founded Cine-Tel Productions and worked on several film projects for Channel 4 and BBC. In presence he has been moving, living and working between London and Prague.

3. Dumitru Ovidiu Corneliu (*1970)

Producer of documentary and commercial films for MAX VISION Video Production. From March 2009 he works for the Romanian Government as Public Relations and mass-media communication expert for projects with EU financial support.

4. Mgr. Katarína Hudecová Slovakia 

Graduated Faculty of MassMedia in Trnava. Since 2006 she has been working in the position of expert at the Programme department of the Office of the Council For Broadcasting and Retransmission. Relations and massmedia communication expert for projects with EU financial.

5. Erik Möllberg USA 

He has produced numerous documentary full length programs, short feature films, and situation comedy programs for broadcast television. He has received national awards for his documentaries “Sailing the Inland Seas“ and Golden Hugo for “Beyond Our Control“ at the Chicago International Film Festival.

6. Evert Janse Holandsko / The Netherlands  

-graduated from the University of Groningen. The last ten years he works as managing director of local radio/television stations. The first three years in Leeuwarden and the last seven years working and living in Groningen.

7. Vanja Kranjac (*1956) Serbia

Producer of the most significant B92’s documentaries. Member of “Zagreb Dox”, the documentary festival in Croatia. Experienced as a Head of TV news directors and other TV shows, Assistant director and script supervisor.
