Winners of each competition section will be announced at the gala Award Ceremony un June 20th, 2009 .

The International Jury has 5 members and will decide about the awarded programmes in each section. The Grand Awards „The Golden Beggar“ will be given to an any of the categories which shows a strong journalistic content , an element of originality and clear understanding of the needs of its viewers.

The Jury is authorized to award also other prizes and honorary mentions that are financially not remunerated.  The Jury has also the right to decide not to give the Grand Award in some section.

„Love to be Forgotten“ by City Television Ružomberok in Slovakia, 
for a documentary on the life of Dezider Munk.

 „You wanted to make a film?“ Gali Weintraub, Tel Aviv, Israel,
for the film about the courage of a young girl who believes in a happy-ending dream that gives support to disabled people.  




6. THE PRIZE OF THE TV FESTIVAL PRESS VITEZ 

 „Flowers of Rwanda“ from production company Hibrida in Madrid, Spain,
for a strongly engaging portrayal of a nation learning to live together for a safe future of coming generations.

„Trifun the Bomber“ from RTS Vranje, Serbia. 
for its treatment in ironic style of a potentially dangerous situation!
