There is 200 films from 49 countries of the world in the ‚Golden Beggar‘ competition.

21. International Festival of Local Televisions in Košice has registered 200 films from all over the world into its competition show.  „We are glad to see that the competition show this year will be varied and colourful, the films really came in from all over the world. Among the film makers there are authors from exotic countries sucha s India, Taiwan, Iran, Iraq, Iceland or Japan. The majority of films came from Spain. Slovak films are present in all categories“ says the director of the festival Eva Děkanovská. There are 3 main sections – local television, production company and young author, within which the international jury will award „Golden Beggar“ for the best film. The international jury has 7 members. The chairman of the jury is a Swiss writer and an actor Roger Worrod. Local television section will be judged by a Slovak director Marcel Děkanovský and Andrea Remencová from the Council of broadcasting and retransmission in Slovak republic, production company section will be judged by a Romanian producer Ovidiu Dumitrana and an English writer James Sutherland-Smith and the young author section will be assessed by an Italian journalist Elena Romanato and a director and cameraman Darko Kovič from Serbia. The jury has already been watching the films online. The preselection of the best films will be presented to the citizens of Kosice during the festival in Kulturpark from 17th to 19th June 2015.
